The Effect of Cooling Time on the Wave Formation in the Digital Permanent

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of cooling time on the wave formation. The study objects were healthy, less damaged, damaged and seriously damaged hair. After perm, each type of hair was divided into 7 pieces, cooled down and neutralized differently as follows; no cooling time, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 minutes. As for all cases of hair conditions applied in this experiment, the wave formation was the bounciest and the most even in the case of cooling time 15 and 20 mimutes In conclusion, it was proved through the experiment that 15 and 20 minutes cooling time were the most effective for the bouciest and the most even wave formation.
